At 18 inches of diecast, the Tetsujin 28 was a grand experiment for Popy.

Featuring removable diecast panels for the legs, arms and chest area, a working elevator in the legs and little robots and pilots as well as the usual bevy of missiles and shooting fists, the SG-01 is considered by many to be the pinnacle of diecast Japanese robot toys.
