The "big event" finally happened on Legend of Daikumaryu Gaiking. Gaiking, Raiking, and Bullking combined to form Gaiking The Great. It was a "great" episode, including an enemy mecha that commandeered the old Gaiking's face-open head. A few select images are included here; you can find the whole gattai scene on YouTube.
