Remember the recently released modular Yamato? Not the spaceship, the battleship. It's a really cool product, but lots were disappointed that it wasn't the Leiji variety. It seems in the toy world that all things come to those that wait -- and spend.
Released in eight blocks of ¥500 each, the new 1:700 scale, 15 inch Yamato is coming soon with all ABS construction. Of course, there will be lots of nicely painted cutaway detail between modules.
