Black Cross sends five Mask Monsters to destroy the Japanese bases of EAGLE (Earth Guard League), an international peace-keeping organization. The five survivors of the attacks are reorganized under Commander Edogawa to form the Secret Task Force/Squadron Goranger. The Gorangers, clad in flamboyant costumes that give them superhuman abilites, seek to destroy Black Cross and to stall the cabal's plot for world domination.
