The first game to replicate mecha combat in terms of fixed vectors of attack that segue into melee moves. It also utilised an idiosynchratic control setup via a pair of twin sticks.

Two Saturn and two PC ports were also released, as well as a bespoke twin stick peripheral for the Saturn editions.

The arcade version ran on Model 2 boards and was one of the most graphically procifient games available on that hardware.
