Takara Tomy chief Kantaro Tomiyama makes a few comments on the combined company's branding and marketing strategy. A key message was that all new product development will be branded "Takara Tomy", while lines that are particularly associated with their former companies, such as Takara's Licca-chan and Tomy's PlaRail, will remain with the old branding.

Regarding overseas sales, the direct foreign market pipeline developed by Tomy will continue to be leveraged and expanded, while franchises that are currently sold though the partnership with Hasbro will stand. Noting that the Hasbro partnership isn't dramatically profitable, Tomiyama says profits derived via Hasbro are stable, and the partner model is more effective than direct sales at this time.
