Canceled Wheels?

Some strange rumors are flying around about the Chara Wheels line. Toys that were scheduled to appear soon aren't appearing on solicitations and (gasp!) the CW section is missing from some hobby mags. Insiders have offered stories that range from a pending dissolve of Bandai's relationship with Mattel, to the CW line being a bomb, to unending international licensing issues.

According to one source, if the worst happens, toys based on Japanese properties will still be released, but under a new name, probably Popinika.
