Bandai buys a major stake in Hanayashiki, a 150 year old amusement park in the heart of Asakusa -- a section of Tokyo also home to many toy companies well known to our readers. Offering generic but popular rides that would be at home in any American county fair, Hanayashiki also boasts a pen of house mascots. But Bandai intends to use its share of influence to ensure Anpanman and Super Sentai & Kamen Rider heroes are also well represented.
